Cool!! Cant wait to see part 2!! :D:D <br />From a quick look, I don&#39;t see why it wouldn&#39;t be able to be decoded/manipulated. But perhaps the false gates are the same width as the true, and that might make things difficult for you. From what I can see, the false gates look a tiny bit smaller, and tapered perhaps. But thats all theory, we&#39;ll have to wait and see! Good luck buddy!

The false gates look wider than the true gate from what I can see. They taper in at the top and look to be half again as wide as the true gate. I would find the tightest number on each wheel and go from there. Just a thought.
         Michael Maynard Michael Maynard 01.01.2019->+Potti314 Yup, treat it effectively like a sidebar. This should be pretty easy I think.
         Potti314 Potti314 29.12.2018->The bar on the actuator that goes in the gate is 3.8mm wide and the true gate 4.2mm (the false is 4.11mm). This will give me 0.4mm to test for the gate. In theory the wheel in a false gate should be stuck under tension and in a true gate it should have some detectable free-play. Not sure however how good the feedback from the plastic model actually will be.

         noakeswalker noakeswalker 29.12.2018->Yeah, I can see the inner/outer wheels on your 3D model, I just couldn't see how they would move and disconnect - I should wait for you to get the lock in your hands ! ;o)
         Potti314 Potti314 29.12.2018->Yes, the combination can be changed. The inner and outer wheels are stuck together. By changing the angle of the connection you can modify the code.

Very cool lock.<br />The only thing about the body I would change is to give it a shrouded shackle.<br />My main concern is that the screw in part can be forced to uncrew maybe.....and then you can look as the notches on the inside of the wheels to see if they are lined up. Can you force the blue piece out with pulling attacks.<br />I know without tools it is very very good.<br />I like the design.<br />Would like to see a shrouded shackle.... otherwise I would want to use a lock like this.
         Potti314 Potti314 29.12.2018->Yes, a shrouded shackle is always a good thing. I also think that the screw is a weak point and maybe needs a counter nut to secure it. Let's see how good the feedback from the plastic - I have to be careful to not break anything.

Great 3d presentation my friend. Looks like a well thought out locking mechanism by polishlocks.<br />If there&#39;s anyone who could decode it, it would be you buddy ?? i really can&#39;t wait for the followup episode to see you work your magic on it.
