------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ @Chasing_Mimikyu 10.05.2021 I just can't get mine open.. Haha irritating..
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ @pheenix42 09.01.2021 I have one of these I intended to use on my locker at work, but the shackle thickness is too much for the door latch mechanism...too bad I can't figure out a way of adapting it, ya know?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ @stopthephilosophicalzombie9017 02.01.2021 This is a slap in the face for me. I have one of these that I have been picking for two months now and I have yet to get even the slightest hint of rotation/counterrotation or a hint that I've set a pin. I'm a newbie and I've successfully picked a few deadbolts and knob keyway locks, but this lock has stumped me totally. I'm guessing it's one of these rebranded Abus locks (mine says Uhaul on it), but maybe it's just like this one and I'm just doing it all wrong. @HEadshot00001234 17.01.2026->Same here. My face is beet red after using the backside of the pick and rocked it open. I’ve spent several months on this lock SPP and raking with no luck
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ @bumman117 28.12.2020 I tried to rake it once now the normal key doesn't open it lol
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ @dfailsthemost 15.09.2020 The tension wss hard for me to get right.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ @pauls5745 30.08.2020 more practical would be demonstrating how it would be as locked up on something? certainly holding comfortably in your hand optimizes angle of tension, but it's never so in use. yup, internals are stiff on cheaper new locks so any toolkit should incl WD-40, as he mentioned he did use
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ @macforme 13.07.2020 @BosnianBill: I was horrified that you mentioned shooting WD40 into a lock. That may be fine for one you're never going to use again but you are giving people a bad habit. WD40 will collect dust over time and GRAPHITE does not. What say thee?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ @markfcoble 20.06.2020 Thanks!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ @Silituz 15.06.2020 I swear you say „Mittwoch“ ?
Greets from Ger
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ @davek12 15.06.2020 'm not good at picking at all. I have one of these, and it's easier to pick than the clear plastic padlock that came with the cheap lock pick set. The big, heavy "US General" round 2.5" one has so far kept me out, but it has a very strong spring, making it tough to get any feel besides just tension.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ @supercompooper 11.06.2020 Idea: chastity lock? Haha
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ @asprosav 10.06.2020 Hi Bill and community.
Could someone please tell me what the blind holes are, 30 deg from the key pins in a lock barrel. Security...?
Thanks, and don't stop the fantastic vids.
P.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ @justinbustin677 10.06.2020 Ive been 75 percent sucessfull on theses locks for a beginner. Using a multi swiss army style pick.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ @thorlancaster5641 10.06.2020 My dad has an ancient Chateau version of this and it isn't near that easy. Even has a spool or two in it.
Times have definitely changed.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ @Shazzkid 10.06.2020 Aren't these the locks that have a zinc core that can just be melted out with a blow torch
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ @armlessjohn666 09.06.2020 Could this be picked tensioning only from the shackle?
