i love your videos. i've been picking locks for only about a month now and if it wasn't for your channel, i probably would have been satisfied knowing i can pick the couple of padlocks i had laying around and the front and back door, but after watching your videos i've realized the level of skill that can be achieved. i've recently moved on from picking my master no 140 & 150, and have began to practice with a master no. 570, and i picked up a challenge lock on ebay as well. keep the videos coming and i'll keep watching. thanks.
@tjn2647 @tjn2647 03.06.2017->Have you found The Lock Picking Lawyer? Bill is good, but LPL makes picking look easy.
@CGoody564 @CGoody564 25.10.2018->@tjn2647 deviant ollam is a hidden gem if you like penetration testing as well
@CGoody564 @CGoody564 24.10.2018->Ive only been doing it for a week using paper clip tools (lol) but I ordered that little folding handheld 7 in 1 pick set and an abus 55/40 padlock. Hopefully getting the Sparrow Monstrum XXL set + SSDev hooks for Christmas; will never need another tool for pin/tumblers until something breaks. Also trying to order the 7 pin adversary lock from learnlockpicking if I'm able to. Being able to replace them with security pins it comes with would be very nice; that's why I am leaning towards that over the Sparrow revolver, cutout, or progressive locks

From there, I can get dimple picks later on, and so on. Sparrow seems like a decent company. I'd love to order a bunch of Peterson stuff, but alas I probably couldn't afford a replacement if something broke (which WILL happen) let alone buying it initially lol
@tjn2647 @tjn2647 25.10.2018->I have been checking out some of his vids as well. It is interesting how easy getting into some places can be, if you just know a few tricks.
@CGoody564 @CGoody564 25.10.2018->@tjn2647 he's the one that got me started. Was watching defcon for programming and such, saw a physical security talk he gave, and proceeded to binge on a ton of his talks. He mentioned bosnianbill, And from him I found lockpicking lawyer.

But yes, physical penetration of "secure" areas is such an interesting topic in of itself. Some resilience and a little research/know-how can get you a long way.

With that said, legality should always be taken in to consideration. It's all fun and games until you end up shackled facing jail time and possible fines for damage.

When you get a false set is that then a pin you have to go back to after you've picked others? I have a medeco...well 2 of them ive been working on. I can't just cut them out of their housings so i cant use a normal yension wrench either. The lock itself is set back a few inches so im using a custom tensioner ive made from a small flathead. So im not getting great feedback. These are factory locks the owner lost the key to. Same key for both. So im wondering what the bitting looks like. If you respond to this ill email you the lock model number maybe you have some input. Every time i watch one of your videos i learn something new. Hoenstly youre part of the reason i was able to continue from hobbiest to regestered locksmith. So thank you for the great videos and thanks for any info. I have a brinks, my first lock i ever picked that wasnt a master lol. But anyway pin 3 is a false set. I set it, deep, pick the other 4 and then come back to 3, ease off the tension on the cylinder and bam. It sets and pops open. One of my favorites. Anyway am i correct in thinking this is how a false set operates? Or do u get the false set and that pin is done? I didnt think it was like that. Also...cathair? Did you FEEL that in there?! Im still amazed by ur ability to so accuratly feel how many pins are in a lock and if they are angled every time. Im usually lucky to guess the amount of pins 1 out of 3 times.

Stupid question, what size and tpi thread is typically used for either threading the bible, or for plugs?

Completely modified. Absolute garbage. Nearly every security feature is rigged or removed.

Yah mon. that was good and surprisingly fast. <br>Edit: Now I have seen the end and discovered it is a false flag attack, not a Medeco. :):)

That looked like it was gonna gut itself. Lotta slop but some gnarly pins in that one.

I like your humility. You are the man Bill. I work on a tugboat so I have to keep my eyes forward so I pick &quot;blind&quot;mostly. I&#39;ve re pinned up the locks on my house but the check pins mess with me. I&#39;m sure that my locks on the house won&#39;t be picked thanks to you and lock picking lawyer. You guys are tricky. Thanks
@bosnianbill @bosnianbill 07.01.2019->Thanks for letting me know! Also, it sounds like you have one of the coolest jobs on the planet. Fresh air, constantly changing scenery, and no office walls. I am envious!

I would of left the missing pin side bar intact and put the medeco, pin in backwards good luck trying to line that up!
@jamesstrain7062 @jamesstrain7062 14.05.2018->paul solfelt then the key wouldn’t work, which is one of the “challenge lock” conditions or rules.

I have single picked every lock I have now, EXCEPT the two Medeco&#39;s. I just can&#39;t seem to get them figured out YET!!! They drive me crazy.

Genius. The lock designer built a really secure lock, then the amateur re-keyer Jason completely ruined the security of the system - no rotations, no sidebar... What a waste. Not even 6 pins!
