------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ @lesturner 14.07.2017 I had to re-watch the opening of the Wally as I thought it said "HARD.SHAG." on the reverse but it's actually SHAC.... phew! That's a nice selection of locks for future videos. Looking forward to the handbag lock :)           @LockNoob 14.07.2017->Thanks :-) the Viros are special :-)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ @RAkers-tu1ey 14.07.2017 Here's a quick newbie question for you:<br>I have been picking everything in my hand. Is it a lot easier using a vice? ( IYO)           @LockNoob 14.07.2017->R. Akers it seems to be preference really, but I find that I get better feedback by holding the lock in hand           @RAkers-tu1ey 14.07.2017->Thanks, that is sort of what I thought. I get better feedback from the tension wrench in a vice, but better feedback regarding "clicks" in my hand. I am struggling with a number of American cores with serrated pins on the bottom, and spools and serrated on top. I keep over-setting the serrated pins, or dropping them while getting the spools. Darn tiny pins and cramped key way.           @LockNoob 14.07.2017->It's all tension balancing. You'll get there, try taking a couple of pins out and adding them back in when you get more confident. Also make sure that you pick from the bottom of the keyway with a medium hook and use pin-side tensioning with a prybar so you have more room in the keyway :-)           @RAkers-tu1ey 14.07.2017->Great minds.... I have "mastered" 1 pin, and I am just getting used to top of key way tensioning. I am currently working on 3 pins at a time, on 3 different cores. American locks are a lot harder than the Sparrows teaching locks, even when they are all security pins. Thanks for all the great lessons. R.           @LockNoob 14.07.2017->R. Akers yeah, I still find American Locks tough sometimes, they are tough picks IMO and it sounds like you are doing everything right :-)
