A mighty DOM IX5 dimple lock from Tallan Pick. Really fun one to learn as DOM have great tollerences and high manufacturing standards :- )

Any thoughts on a reasonable starter pick or pick set for dimple locks? Still newish and have yet to pick my first dimple lock. Been trying to use half diamond and short hook with some limited success but don’t really know if it’s my lack of skills or the wrong tools or a smelly combination of the two stopping me getting that first dimple pick!<br><br>Ps, great pick. I could hear how crunchy that lock was. Must have been a tough one...
          @LockNoob 06.10.2018->The best thing you can do is buy some Honest dong Shi picks from Bangood.com then modify them. Takes about 30-40 min per pick with files and fine grit sandpaper. If you don’t have time, then the Sparows back Flag Set are a good price but still need a little finishing on the tips - some people say hey are a little soft, but I’ve used them no problem. Othersize Spooxe do fantastic picks, but they are not cheap. :-)

Great great picking my friend, I love this lock, only five pins but really good tolerances make it evil and extremely fun. A lock that proving ones again that is more important to have good tolerances than a lot of pins. <br>Great work on this buddy, your skills have been greatly expanded, congrats for that! ;o)))

Great pick. Pins are like a more subtle Assa style pin. Kinda like a stepped beer barrel. Cool!
