Keyprint in Edinburgh sell these as “Made in the UK” ? I fell for that once and bought a set from them. Now I just get them straight from AliExpress.

Not seen these ones before but they look quite reasonable. Previous ones were too short so they wouldn't lift the levers high enough. Plus they had to be filled to fit in a lock. As for these it doesn't look like there's an issue at all. Also seems to be a decent price too.<br>Great review as always sir

In Russia we have lots of lever locks which has a butterfly-shaped keys. Like, modern standard for apartments door is to have a lever lock of such type and a pin tumbler lock. So that tension is applied in the middle, no matter from which side of the door you are. I wonder is there any lockpicking tools made specifically for that type.

These are direct copies of our ALs lock tools ones and we now dropped them and re made them because of it ??? the only difference on them is the knurling. New ones are a lot better tho. As you say looks cheap but work.

I have used these tools about 2 years ago they were good until the point all the grub screws started to loosen off, if you get this product my advice is threadlock the crews in then your good to go, they do pick well for what they are, if you compair them to the RB tools it like night and day regarding the quality and strength, if you want stronger picks then buy them handed not universal like these.<br>Great video again mate ?

It’s always a 50/50 from China , I’ve had some fantastic products and some very poor, always a risk but when cheap it’s sometimes worth a punt.

Debating lever locks vs. disk detainer locks next....hmmmm...if I go in for lever locks I may check these out! Great video! Love your content!
@yom73 09.08.2026->I would go for the disk detainers. There are many models available, from very easy to really hard and you can find them used for a reasonable amount. And personally I prefer to have a nice padlock collection in my drawer than a bunch of lever locks.

Great vid, thanks. <br> I have a good handful of these type picks, all varying in quality and finish. From the 'few quid, cheap enough to tweak youself', to Andy Mac dog's doodlies ready to go gear. <br> All, imo, have their place in your toolbox. <br> I like that you addressed the issue of welds(solders?) and upstand heights- both two very important factors. Even the cheaper gear, can be 'modified' to make it fully functional. There are a LOT of lever locks out there and there is no, currently available, "one size fits all".<br> I am, predominantly, a LockSporter- but also deal with real world locks, from a property maintenance and refurb perspective. <br> Compared to tools specifically supplied, for specific locks, from a locksmith suppliers (should you have access- pun maybe intended?)- these are almost cheaper than chips, in the UK.<br> For anyone who actually stuck with this ramble, that's my penny worth- take care and have a great weekend.???
