Hi! Sorry for my question but I’m new brand to lock picking. Comb picking works only on padlocks or on locks too. Thanks!

Using the tension wrench is genius. I've never seen anyone do that.

Never ceases to amaze me when I see one of the most secure master locks those clowns sell, being combed in seconds. Master Lock co. are absolutely ridiculous for not fixing their 100yr old poor design. The people that use them typically lock up 1000's of $'s in tools in their trucks with them, and it takes a tool of less then 5$, and the skill of a 6yr old to defeat them. What as joke....

Comb picks are really handy hut you really have to study the locks they will work on. ? ?

@sarchlalaith8836 08.08.2026
Great... But how can you tell the pin amount as a novice

@andy123law 08.08.2026
Nice review Ash thanks mate ?

@timoconnell5804 08.08.2026
I'm brand new to lock picking so I apologize if this is a stupid question, but how do you know how many pins are in a lock? If you don't have the key and it isn't a cutaway lock? Do you just know your locks so well that you can look at a lock and go Oh, that's a five pin?

@LordSorus 08.08.2026->You can feel out a lock by sticking a pick all the way to the back and slowly pulling it out, counting the clicks or bumbs on the way.

@andy123law 08.08.2026->There is a PDF guide on the same page of my website where the comb set is listed ?

@frankwerner9698 08.08.2026
yes. more locks to try. thats the big question. what locks? exta turning tool? great idea. ? re-visit master blaster by spartows. pushing up the pins. ?

@Tokyo-chicken 07.08.2026
I’ve never had much luck with combs; I get them stuck in the lock more often than open.
I might need to start trying again.

@andy123law 08.08.2026->Have a look at Locknoobs longer review of these where he shows you how to use the pin depressor. That's the L shaped part next to the turning tool. Using this really helps ?

@Tokyo-chicken 09.08.2026->@andy123lawThank you. Will do.

@braydenh190 07.08.2026

Great job on the loop I didn't even notice it

@stanmarsh2499 07.08.2026
Comb picks are retarded. Anything that can be combed can easily be raked or spp’d. But the opposite isn’t true. Comb picks are for stupid beginners and pick manufacturers who prey upon their wallets.

@edwardhughes352 07.08.2026

@MasterMindmars 07.08.2026
After saw lots of ways to open locks, I am stunned with this method. Comb Picking. Awesome.
It consist of pushing all the pins completely in the non movile part.
